After a morning of looking for buffalo and an afternoon watching the last Crazy Horse football game of the year, before we could set up for the Community Dinner in Wanblee, we had an hour and a half of free time to spare. With this bit of extra time we hopped in the vans, fueled up, got a trea, we found ourselves going on an off-road adventure coming in from the South East corner of the Badlands into the White River Basin. After driving on a very remote ranchland, we arrived at a destination we thought would be good to hike around on for a little while. As it turned out it was a very beautiful place to adventure to and spend some spare time with the group.
