Yesterday was a very full day for the team. We saw many patients including some old friends from the last trip in October! At lunch Monica provided an inservice about rheumatological diseases to the staff, who greatly appreciated having more information about diseases and treatment. Diner was at Meg’s home, she cooked us a delicious chicken soup and kabooboo bread! Also called cowboy bread, a native delicacy! We got to meet her husband Ron and Earl a local young man who enjoy coming to Meg’s and help her husband build things around the house and on the down time shoot arrows at the target. That’s was very very special. Tashunka ( it means horse) got loose and Meg was the only one able to get her back into the yard! We also visited Ron’ self built sweat lodge where the local children come to spend time with Ron and also have some well deserve spiritual healing. A wonderful Day!
