The HSA crew got an early start to the day as we all met at Kwik Trip to begin our 10 hour journey to Pine Ridge, South Dakota. It was a very nice drive through Wisconsin and on into Minnesota where we got to see the World’s only Corn Palace. The next fun filled stop was at a Prairie Dog Farm in South Dakota where we were able to go out and feed the prairie dogs. Everyone was amazed at how friendly they were and how close they would get, especially Ann P. and a few other members who was climbed on by a few of the animals. Prairie dogs were not the only wild life we saw as we crossed in to the Badlands National Park and saw rams on our way in, and out, of the park. It was a very eventful fun filled day and I am sure we have many more exciting experiences to come.
