The drive out was fun, entertaining and very informative. I rode out with Lori Miskell. She is a very interesting nurse. I absolutely loved listening to her talk about her job. Very intelligent and caring. I am so glad I got to meet her.
The kids were like a bunch of monkeys at the rest stop when we had to go ahead of our lead van because of a police officer that was a little picky about speed. 🙂 Poor lady. Felt bad but also laughed. Kids jumped out of the vans and headed for the playground equipment putting poor Lori in alert mode. Standing on the top of the monkey bars ect…
Enjoyed the stop we made to zoo the Prairie Dog ranch. They were all over the place, crawling up kids legs, popping up and down the holes. Once again stressing out poor Lori. Good thing no one took her blood pressure.
Made it to the Badlands and on e again turned the monkeys loose. Lori and I took a couple pics and the went on our way.
Made it safely to the Lakota Prairie Ranch and got settled in, had supper, laughs and the. Off to bed. End of day one. Pics to come.
