Thursday May 7, 12:15-1pm – Pine Ridge Noon Conference – Dr. Steve Manson, Gundersen Pediatrics, and Annette O’Hern from the School District of La Crosse, will present on the April team’s work to Pine Ridge where physical exams were provided to more than 140 youth and several hundred Lakota students participated in the First Aid Fair at local schools.
Wednesday, May 13, 12:15-1pm – Ethiopia Noon Conference – Several volunteers from the February Ethiopia team will share their eye-opening experiences of providing surgical, podiatric, obstetrical, dental and vision services at Project Mercy. Presenters include Dr. Jeff Hillesland (Emergency Medicine), Dr. Devin Simonson (Podiatry), Dr. Michael Jacobs (Podiatry), Dr. Nate Farley (Dental), Dr. Jennifer Karnowski (OB/Gyn), and Sally Hillesland, RN.
Wednesday, June 3, 12:15-1pm – Nicaragua Noon Conference – Dr. Jenn Gipp, OD, Decorah-Optometry, will share about the work of the volunteer vision team that went to Nicaragua in November 2014. Learn how recent conversations with Nicaragua partners are shaping the vision trip planned for November 2015!
